SEC Parking Instructions (Exhibitors & Contractors)
Scottish Event Campus – West Car Park
SEC are pleased to provide parking facilities for vehicles at the West Car Park. Please follow the guidance below to ensure a smooth arrival and departure process. If you or your contractors wish to make a delivery to site and or park during the open days please click the button below and submit the form.
Arrival at the SEC

From the M8 motorway, take junction 19 and follow the signs for SEC. As you approach the campus, follow the signage directing you to the West Car Park.
- Check-in Procedure:
Exhibitors and their contractors will be granted access from the gatehouse to Car Park 5 for cars and vans and Car Park 7 for Trucks and HGV’s. Please follow the traffic management team’s directions. Please ensure you have booked your delivery slot for your vehicles. Please note vehicles that have not booked a slot may be subject to delays.

Exhibitor & Contractor Parking Instructions
- Exhibitors and contractors must complete the book in with SEC, see button above.
- Exhibitors and contractors should park only in marked bays within Car Park 5.
- All Trucks/HGVs must park in the designated HGV parking located in Car Park 7.
- Please always follow the traffic management team’s directions
- Ensure the engine is turned off while stationary.
- Please keep fire lanes and pedestrian routes clear at all times.
- Overnight parking must be pre-arranged with the SEC traffic management team.
- Please note there are no electric vehicle charging points onsite.

SEC Booking Terms
You must (1) access and use the SEC car park in a safe and responsible way, (2) park your vehicles properly and only within marked bays, (3) comply with all signage, and (4) comply with any rules, policies, and procedures that SEC tell you apply in relation to your access to or use of the SEC car park (including any about health and safety or security). You mustn’t park in any bays marked for a specific purpose (for example, disabled parking bays) when you’re not entitled to.
You’ll be liable for any damage, injury, or loss (1) you cause when accessing, trying to access, or using the SEC car park, or (2) resulting from your breach of any of the terms of this booking form.
You’re choosing to park your vehicles in the SEC car park at your own risk. Accordingly, SEC don’t guarantee the security of your vehicles or their contents, nor will SEC have any liability for any theft, damage, injury, or losses you incur in accessing or using the SEC car park.
SEC recommend you (1) leave your vehicles locked with the handbrake on, windows closed, and any alarm, steering lock, or other security device engaged, (2) remove any valuables from your vehicles or, if that’s not possible, lock them in secure, out-of-sight storage areas in your vehicles, and (3) obtain all risks insurance for your vehicles and their contents which covers you while using the SEC car park.
SEC may move any of your vehicles (including removing them from our car park) using whatever method they consider appropriate (1) if they believe they’ve been abandoned, (2) if they have any health and safety or security concerns, (3) if you breach any of the terms of this booking form, (4) in the event of an emergency, or (5) if the campus is closed for any reason.
COURIER DELIVERIES
It is vital that all Exhibitors and Couriers are aware that deliveries can only be accepted within the show timetable:

The SEC does not accept deliveries on behalf of exhibitors. Please ensure a suitable representative is available to receive the goods. Deliveries made before the start of tenancy will be returned at the sender’s expense.
Outstanding collections – The SEC does not have on-site storage or the capability to forward remaining items. Anything left on-site after tenancy may be removed/disposed of at the tenancy holder’s expense.
A representative of the company will need to accept delivery on the stand. The Organisers cannot be held responsible. The Exhibitor or their representative needs to be onsite to accept delivery. Alternatively, the appointed Show Freight Company will be able to do this for you and put your goods into appropriate storage, whether chilled or ambient. This MUST be arranged directly with GES.
