iSqueeze adds pineapple slicing machine Isla to its portfolio of self-service technology

iSqueeze adds Isla a new fresh pineapple slicing machine to its portfolio of self-service technology increasing profits for businesses nationwide. Already the UK’s largest provider of commercial juice machines, iSqueeze is the first to offer shoppers the unique experience to quickly prepare one whole pineapple, ready to eat anywhere.

Isla is set to transform the way people consume natural pineapple, instead of pre-packaged on the shelf, Isla offers machine cut and served on the premises to guarantee the freshest quality. In just 15 seconds Isla cuts off the crown, removes the peel and the core of the pineapple, cuts into slices, chunks or sticks, packaged in a fully recyclable cardboard box. The machine is adaptable to varying fruit sizes, meaning retailers will get the most out of its pineapples. Customers will also benefit, as a whole pineapple 600g (on average) is retailing from just £3.49 whereas pre-cut pineapple on average is sold at £2.30 for £300g. Best kept refrigerated with a shelf life of three days.

Isla offers businesses the opportunity to boost revenue with a machine which produces freshly prepared fruit in front of customers eyes, and Jempson’s* is the first retailer to install one this December. iSqueeze machines can be bought outright, or customers can take out a contract-hire including full maintenance cover. The expert team offer quick maintenance and aftercare services to keep machines running efficiently with no disruption to businesses day-to-day operation.

The latest technology from Zummo Cloud makes it easy for retailers to manage machines from anywhere. The design is compact, comprising a single block, to guarantee it remains sealed and hygiene controlled to prevent foreign bodies from entering. Businesses can customise machines to fit in with an establishment’s identity, with bespoke graphics and stickers to match the aesthetics of any location.
