TUK IN FOODS SHOWCASES THE FUTURE OF FOOD-TO-GO AT THE LUNCH! SHOW
Fast-growing food brand to unveil new product innovation as demand grows for flavour-led convenience and healthier snacking.
Tuk In Foods will use this year’s Lunch! Show to showcase how Indian food is evolving beyond the traditional ready meal, presenting a growing portfolio of products designed for today’s food-to-go, food-for-later and convenience markets.
The Leicester-based business, now stocked in more than 3,000 stores nationwide following successful launches with Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Asda, Costco and WHSmith, has built its success on three core principles: a genuine passion for Indian cuisine, an unwavering commitment to restaurant-quality food and a loyal, engaged customer base that continues to drive its growth.
At the centre of the stand will be Tuk In Foods’ award-winning Curry in a Naan range, the brand’s flagship product, which combines slow-cooked, restaurant-quality curry with freshly baked naan to create a convenient handheld meal without compromising on authentic flavour. The range recently secured a nationwide Sainsbury’s listing and is now available as part of the retailer’s core meal deal.
Alongside its flagship products, visitors will be able to sample the brand’s expanding range of Premium Naans, Samosas, Healthy Snacking products and the launch of its new Poppadom range. Every product is Halal and developed using carefully selected ingredients inspired by authentic Indian cooking.
The Lunch! Show will also offer an exclusive first look at the brand’s latest innovation programme, including Protein Bites – a new concept currently in development, created in response to growing consumer demand for convenient, high-protein snacks that deliver on both flavour and nutrition.
Founded in 2015 by former finance professional Thomas Cropper, Tuk In Foods was created to address what he saw as a significant gap in the lunchtime market. Despite Britain’s long-standing love of Indian cuisine, there were few convenient formats capable of delivering the quality and flavour consumers associate with their favourite restaurants and takeaways. More than a decade later, that vision continues to drive the business, with over 50% year-on-year sales growth for six consecutive years and an increasingly loyal customer following across retail and foodservice.
Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to meet the Tuk In Foods team, sample the latest products and discuss emerging category trends, bespoke product development and future opportunities across retail, wholesale and foodservice.
