Lead capture


1 data capture app is included with standard stand packages. This app can be used on your own device (any tablet or mobile), and includes access to an online data portal.

 

On this page you can find out more about how to access your included app, how to order extras and the type of scanners available.

 

You will be sent 2 emails from our supplier JET – Jonas Event Technology ([email protected]), on 8 April:

  • One email will give you instructions to download and log into your included app
  • The second email will invite you to log into your Engage Scanner Online Portal

 

Please note, if you booked your stand after 8 April, your login will be sent within 1 week of booking.

How to order additional data apps and scanners


If you would like to purchase additional data app licences or wish to order a hand-held data scanner, then you can do this easily within the Engage Scanner Online Portal after you receive login details on 8 April.

 

Simply follow these steps to order additional apps and scanners:

  1. Log into your online account – Find your online account details in your “Online Access to Scanner Data” email
  2. Once logged in click “Order Devices”– This will take you to the scanner order form where you can purchase additional devices
  3. Make sure to set up any additional qualifying questions you wish to ask when scanning badges.

What types of apps and scanners are available?


Data scanner apps - £88+vat


  • Purchase a licence to use the scanner app on your own smartphone or tablet.
  • Add notes to scanned contacts, take photos, record audio and set relevant questions in advance for stand staff to ask.
  • You need one licence per device, they can’t be shared – we recommend ordering an app licence for each of your stand staff.
  • If your device is connected to the internet, you (or a team back in the office) can access the data instantly via your online portal.
  • If you collect data whilst offline, the data will update as soon as you connect to wifi – just always check that the data in your app is ‘synced’.
  • All data apps feed scanned data into your single online data portal.

Handheld data scanner pens - £152+vat


  • This option is a physical hand-held data scanner pen.
  • This option is beneficial if you have different members of staff manning the stand each day or don’t wish to use personal or company smartphones/tablets.
  • The data you scan throughout the event is downloaded once you hand the scanner back to the registration company. (So you don’t receive the data immediately like with the app).
  • You can still categorise data as you scan – set up questions in your data portal and download the barcode sheet for use on the day. You can’t add notes or information outside of the pre-set questions.
  • Post show you will access your scanned data via your online data portal. If you have more than one scanner, all data will be accessible via the one account once all scanners have been downloaded.
